Six programs designed to educate, empower and connect young Zimbabweans through telling their own stories, mentorship and community action.
Everything we do is designed to help young Zimbabweans tell their own story. Our programs create platforms to learn from leaders, connect with peers and develop the skills to speak their truth, share their journey and define their own narrative on their own terms.
Every two weeks WeGeneration Afrika hosts a guest speaker who shares their expertise, life story and vision for Africa's future. Our speakers come from business, media, government, arts, technology and civil society. Sessions are open to all young people across Zimbabwe.
Once a month we host a structured online panel discussion featuring three to five leaders and subject matter experts. Each panel focuses on a topic that directly impacts Africa's young generation, from entrepreneurship and employment to media, politics and culture. Audience participation is central to every session.
Hands-on, practical workshops that equip young Zimbabweans with the skills to tell their own story better. Topics include digital storytelling, journalism, public speaking, content creation and media literacy. Participants leave with skills they can apply immediately in their own lives, communities and careers.
Our mentorship programme connects ambitious young Zimbabweans with established leaders who have walked the path before them. Mentors and mentees are matched based on interests, career goals and availability. The programme includes regular check-ins, goal setting and accountability.
Our flagship event. Once a year WeGeneration Afrika brings together Zimbabwe's brightest young minds for a full day of inspiration, education and connection. The Annual Conference features keynote speakers, panel discussions, workshops, networking and a platform for youth-led initiatives.
WeGeneration Afrika organises community donation drives that channel resources directly to causes that matter to Zimbabwe's youth. From school supplies and education support to food relief and community infrastructure, our drives are planned, transparent and community-led. All donations are accounted for and reported publicly.
All our programs are free and open to young Zimbabweans . No barriers. Just show up.
